After dabbling in many crafts over the years, I finally settled on sewing as my creative outlet. Clothing, curtains, costumes, quilts...it was all fun. Then I tried knitting and sewing took a back seat.
Knitting is more than a hobby for me. It's almost a way of life. I have knitting projects in almost every room of my house and in my car. It's portable and helps me wait when I need to, lets me work on projects while I'm with my loved ones, and let's me create items for them. Knitting lowers my blood pressure and reduces my stress level.
When I'm not knitting, I play electric guitar in my church's contemporary worship band, teach science in an independent studies school for homeschoolers, and do some gardening and cooking.
