The Word

  • 1 Corinthians 16:14
    Do everything in love.
  • Philippians 4:6, 7
Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We've got plenty of snow if you want some more! I'm making pork chops & scalloped potatoes tonight, mac 'n cheese & hot dogs tomorrow night and that's as far as I've gotten this week!

This all looks wonderful - esp. the venison!

What cute little sweaters! It looks like you are really doing well with the menu planning! I envy that you can grill out...ours is currently buried under 10" of snow.

KM

Love the mini sweaters. I really should start some Christmas knitting.

I just defrosted my freezer about a month ago. It seemed like we were eating TONS for the 2 weeks before the defrost. We had meatloaf for the first time in years last week. My kids loved it. I made a Sandra Lee recipe.

Enjoy your week.

My Dad emailed me from VA this morning to inform me that he had been out shoveling snow at my aunts house and how "wonderful" it was to be in a more southerly climate. You could actually hear the sarcasm through the interwebs. I was less than sympathetic since we just got a foot or so of the stuff today. But I do think it's nice that people who don't usually have much in the way of snow got to experience a bit of it. It's really kind of pretty. Just not in the amounts we have right now...

Not much in the way of menus for me this week. I just started on my prescription cough syrup and I think that reheating the frozen foods is all I can manage. I feel very, very gooooooood....

Love those little sweaters!

Such cute sweaters! I have made 2. DH is talking of defrosting deep freeze. My fingertips hurt thinking about it.

I need to become more goal oriented. I tend to not get much accomplished, but then, I tend to not set goals for myself. I really like the idea of doing a gift each month. I love the idea of the little sweaters for ornies, too. That could be my first knit sweater; though I did make some mini socks last year.

Thanks for the inspiration, Beth!

Estella

Aren't they fun to make Beth!?! They look great!

Marti

I have plans to make little sweaters for my tree next year. I want mini knits all over it. Yours turned out great!

Robin

Those little sweaters are adorable! Are you thinking of twisting some itty bitty hangars for them?!

Geraldine

Oh those sweaters are toooo cute! I love your sideroll pic (of you!) lovely.

Hugs, G

PS: Ive been inspired to return to my knitting and crocheting, this time small projects. I planned out several that I ordered yarn for last weekend and I am so pumped to get started. Beth dear, you were part of my inspiration to get back to yarn crafts, something I use to love so much. Seeing all your FO's helped!
