Day 31: Pantry 1

The pantry had become such a mess!  I had it in "zones" (dessert items, beverages, canned goods, etc.) but it had filled up so it was impossible to use the zones.

Day 30: Wrapping paper bin

This does not look like an improvement, but I got rid of a bunch of gift bags, some wrapping paper and some ribbon.  Everything is now organized and I know what's there.

Day 29: Powder room drawer 4

I culled several books and some magazines (one from 2009!).  How does this stuff accumulate?!

Day 28: Powder room drawer 3

We do not spend much time in the bathroom so I don't know how we accumulated a whole library of puzzle books!  I don't have a better place to put these things so they'll stay here.

Day 27: Powder room drawer 2

I hadn't looked in this drawer in years!  My daughter is a senior in high school and hasn't worn things in her hair since elementary school!  The drawer obviously needs to be repainted, doesn't it?

Day 26: Powder room drawer 1

Our downstairs bathroom has a large vanity under the sink.  There are four drawers and five cupboards.  They don't get used much!

Day 25: Toodledo

I use this very helpful "to do" list program called Toodledo.  Well, I used to use it and I'd like to use it again.  So I went through and deleted old entries, updated due dates, etc.  The before and after photos don't look much different, do they?

Day 24: Bedroom corner

Having this corner cleaned is such a relief because it has been a problem for so long.  As you can see, it's where things land when I'm not sure where else they can go.  The only problem is that now I can see how badly I need new curtains, paint, and carpet!

I've been working on and off  (mostly off) on this corner for several days.  I was really inspired to finish when Raelene commented that her daughter checks on my progress.  Thank you!

Day 23: Knitting basket

I'm sorry for the terrible "before" photo!  I didn't realize it was so blurry until now and I don't want to put everything back in to take another photo!  I feel much better having this basket cleaned out and projects prioritized!

Day 22: Sock drawer

Many socks were purged!
