The Project Spectrum color for July is purple. Most of the purple at our house is outside in the flowers, although I do have a purple quilt hanging on the wall of our powder room and a couple of purple shirts. My plan is to knit a felted bag for my sister-in-law from the yarn I died earlier. I really like purple and I wonder why I don't have more of it around.
I wish all of you a safe and joyous 4th of July! And happy Canada Day (a little late) for my neighbors to the north!
Thanks for the lovely purple photos Beth....Such a pretty group. Dyeing yarn, you are an industrious soul. Your felted bags are so beautiful BTW...very well done. I am looking forward to trying felting, if I ever find the time.
Happy 4th of July, Huggs,G

YOu know, I was thinking the same thing! I do love purple, but it's mostly in my gardens! Of course, I would wear purple, but I wouldn't paint my walls purple...

I'm not a huge fan of purple, but LOVE it when it is mixed with green. Your photos are beautiful. How I miss the lush green of the East.

Just wanted to pop in and thank you for wishing us a good trip up north. I sure hope it's a little cooler up there, but, no matter, just to be there is enough. Going to Callaway Gardens for the first time so maybe pictures of butterflies when I return.
Have a good week.
