Just a brief post to say that the swap is now closed and the fun will soon begin! I have names paired up and I will probably be getting the info out to swappers tonight. Remember that even though this is (primarily) a knitting blog, the handmade gift items don't have to be knitted. You can knit, sew, bead, - whatever you want as long as the gift is handmade. I'll send more complete instructions when I give out the partner names.
And now for the vest dilemma... I ripped the whole thing out and rewound the yarn. When I took out the needles to rip back the vest, I tried it on. It wasn't going to be the most flattering thing I've made, so I decided to frog it. I actually feel much better about it - one less project to finish! And just in time, now that the swap is starting. Thanks for all of your helpful comments!
"One less thing to finish." That is a fantastic way to view frogging!!! Have fun with the swap!

Aww. Well, like you said, it can be a relief to just rip it and be done with it.
