My first foray into sweater shoulder seaming (not counting the baby sweater from last year) went well, I guess. If you stare at the seam, you might think it looks funny. And if you look at the spot where the cables meet up, it doesn't match. But all in all, it's okay. Now I'm knitting the hood and I'm just happy to be there.
I am loving the Forest Canopy Shawl! The pattern is easy to follow and it's fun to knit. I was just thinking I'd stop putting in lifelines when I goofed somehow. (Funny how that works, huh?) I frogged back to the lifeline, but the mistake was before that. And I already pulled out the previous lifeline. So, I'm tinking back to try to discover my mistake.
Can you believe the month is almost half over already? One of my knitting goals was to knit one Christmas present each month. I started a dishcloth (Yes, that counts!), but haven't made much progress on it. I'd better get moving!
Good job on the sweater progress! I wonder if I'll ever make another sweater? I've vowed to work my way through the plethora of sock yarn, but a girl's gotta have a little variety in her life, doesn't she?????????
Looks like winter will be hitting us in Maine pretty soon. We've got quite a load of snow coming our way. I think knitting time is going to be plentiful!

Hooray on your sweater! I know you can't wait for it to be done and wearable! I have a sleeve left on my "Joy" sweater and then seaming and knitting the collar. I can't wait for this sweater to be finished...it's like knitting a huge sock on size 3 needles!!

Yay on the sweater progress! I'm sure you're the only one who would stare at the seam, to begin with. =) Can't wait to see it.

Well done on the sweater Beth! I like the shawl but I think Id make it a bit bigger, I love lots of drape in a shawl, and snuggability LOL....
Just checking in, hope to be back to blogging in Feb. I agree WHERE is Jan. going???

Good luck on the sweater. Have I seen pictures of it? hey, you're faster than me, that dang red one is STILL waiting to be finished seaming and it's half finished. NOT my favorite job, but I better get with it if I'm taking it with me next week.
I love doing lace. Have fun with that!

I can't WAIT to see your hoodie!

You're making good progress on that hoodie! It's OK if the shoulder seams don't quite line up, I bet you're the only person who will ever notice. I'm looking forward to some pictures of your progress, or even better, the finished sweater!
