Both the rainbow and ripple pattern are growing on me. (I especially like how well the red/oranges/yellow blend.) It's been fun knitting this because I'm changing colors so frequently. The middle part will be the deep plum color (instead of the green I'd originally chosen) then the other end will have another rainbow. We'll see how it turns out... The shawl will certainly need to have a good blocking because it's kind of narrow.
Erin asked about the yarn in my Scrappy Lengthwise Something in my last post. I'm using leftover Cascade 220 and choosing the color for each of the rows. It's a fun process!
Time to get dinner in the oven. I'm looking forward to catching up on the Olympics. It will be sad when they're over. Have a great weekend!
I'll miss the Olympics too, but man... I really need some more sleep!

Your scarf is gorgeous! I'm not usually one for rainbows either but the color transitions are just beautiful!

I do love the rainbow. I like knowing you're placing the colors and getting that great combo in the scrapy scarf. It sort of looked like you had a great verigated and were just getting happy results.

Such pretty colours. I like this chevron pattern so much. I've knitted a few for others. One day I will have to knit one for myself :)

It's very nice and cheery. You're right - I generally don't like color switching, but this one is so happy that it would be a pleasure to deal with all those loose ends. Good luck!
