Day 5: I am thankful for the Bible study I'm doing. I'm especially thankful for the two ladies doing the study with me!
Mary, Vanessa and I are studying Living Beyond Yourself, which is a Beth Moore study about the fruit of the Spirit (Galations 5:22-23). It's very enlightening. Sometimes Mary or Vanessa will validate something I've written in my homework. Other times they come up with something totally different that causes me to look at something in a new way.
I mentioned before how yummy the snacks have been. Well, Mary raised the bar yesterday. You have to try this recipe! It was so, so delicious. Mary said she used less sugar so I didn't feel too guilty eating it for a mid-morning treat. (Okay, who am I kidding? I've been eating the leftover Halloween candy for breakfast.) It's my turn next...what will I make?!
I think it's wonderful that you and your friends are working and studying together. I imagine the support really helps keep you all on track. I just saw a recipe for a cranberry cake the other day but now I can't remember where I saw it. It looked pretty simple but didn't have apples.

Bible study discussions are very rewarding. I always get more when it's just a handful rather than a large group-the snack looks yummy too. i love anything with apples-need your pizza recipe from last week too-enjoy your weekend.
