First, the good news - I did get half the garage cleaned up! (Emma helped with the heavy stuff.) Even though they aren't good, I'm sharing some before and after shots with you. Steve was really surprised. :)
Now the bad news... Somehow I've gotten the purls wrong on Colchicaceae. Instead of ripping it out, I'm going through each section with a crochet hook to get a balanced design. It may not be exactly how it's designed but it will at least look okay. I have to admit that I was pretty tempted to leave it like it was. But I thought it would look even worse after blocking. (Have you ever left something then regretted it?) I blame Masterpiece 'cause that's what I was watching when I starting goofing up. I think. :) What are you knitting this week?
You and Emma did a great job clearing the garage! It helps to have someone to help with clearing up doesn't it? I don't like to do such things on my own :)
Hope you manage to fix the wrong purls. I can't really see what's wrong though, it looks pretty alright to me :)

The change in the garage is amazing. You want to come do mine now? It will take you a month so you'd better bring your suitcase.

Wow! The garage looks fantastic. A place for everything, everything in it's place!
Boo hiss re the colchi! i wouldn't have the slightest clue on how to fix with a crochet hook. when i kept messing up the lace on my summer shrug, someone kept making me rip it back to fix it! JK :)i'm glad i did it. which reminds me, i need to go back and finish it!

...ah... I think I was the someone who "suggested" vanessa rip back and fix. my thinking is that if it bothers you while you're knitting it, it will definitely bother you once it's done. like obsessively. so I almost always rip and fix. and I think what you've posted above looks great. you're a crochet hook pro! (and the garage does look fab - yay you...and emma too!)
