The Word

  • 1 Corinthians 16:14
    Do everything in love.
  • Philippians 4:6, 7
Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Oh...I forgot peonies on my list...love them...just wish they lasted longer.

Kathy

Oh, love the clean house smell. My list was getting too long. I could have added so many.

Estella

Lily of the valley is one of my favorites too. I also love lilacs.

Sheri Hisey

My favorite smell is the beach/ocean, where I grew up, and a close second would have to be a baby. To me they smell like fresh baked bread, so that too. I liked all your smells. LOL
NOT the pug. I don't know what is wrong with this dog but she's constantly scratching herself raw and for almost 8 years that's what we've been battling.
I found you!

I think you are right about the ocean - I love the smell but I love being there even more. I love to take deep deep breaths to bring as much of it into my lungs, it feels so cleansing.

vanessa

i love the rain in the woods smell, too. from the warmth of my very cozy and dry tent or cabin.

woohoogirl

You are so right about rain in the woods! I love the smell of rain, adding the woods just ramps it up :-)

Mary

I had a lot of "clean" smells on my list, too. maybe it's a comfort thing? and have to say, I'm not sure I've ever smelled lily of the valley...but I want to now!

lydia

clean and fresh are some of the best "natural" fragrances. i probably like the sound of the ocean over the smell-especially when waves are hitting the rocks.

Debby

I do love the ocean; that salty smell just can't be bottled or put into a candle that smells nearly as good.

I agree with your list of flowers, and would add roses and sweet peas. Mmmm.

And not on your list but ones I also love: almond, coconut, lemon, and the smell of cut grass, which means summer is really here. I love the smell of regular rain, and of our cat Rainy too!
