Emma and Steve are both into science fiction, gaming, etc. and they really enjoyed their Dragon*Con experience last year. So much so that this year they went for all four days over the Labor Day weekend. And next year they plan to stay downtown for two nights instead of riding MARTA back and forth. They invited me to come along but I kept my involvement to costume making.

You made awesome costumes! Dale and I have talked about sticking a toe into the Steampunk thing but we have resisted so far.

Their costumes were awesome. They inspired me to make at least Caleb something for next year. Brian took some pictures of them in the parade. I need to get those to you. I have to find which memory card they took down there.
I want our whole family to go next year. I want to go just to people watch though. I don't think Ava would like to sit in classes all day. I think the girls will go down for one day only and the boys can do the whole weekend.
