The Word

  • 1 Corinthians 16:14
    Do everything in love.
  • Philippians 4:6, 7
Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

a very interesting idea. i agree-there comes a time when you really have to say no to focus on other stuff. i'll be right there with you on that! happy new year!

EVERY day? That's an impressive goal. I'll try and do something every Friday, how's that?

martha

That's very impressive! But I like your angle of just a little every day. I'll give it a try.

I will commit to trying to clean something each day! my aunt has a great theme - cleaning something with the day of the week. mondays - mopping, money (bills); tuesdays - trash; wednesday - windows, etc. a good way to remember! happy new year!

I love the idea of cleaning one thing a day. I have tried for the last six weeks or so to do this and my husband has commented that our house "Just feels better" which I think is the best compliment I have had in a long time. Please make sure you post what you are doing - It may spark an area that I have completely forgotten about!! Imagine a clean house HHHHHMMMMM....

Leslie

Funny you suggested this. I was thinking about doing something like this earlier this week. Let the cleaning begin!

Sounds like a good idea! I have lots of things that I keep putting off. I'll try clearing a drawer a week, more do-able for me :)
