I don't often post on the weekends but I'm so excited to show you the sock I completed in less than a week. That is definitely a record for me! I finished it up on Thursday night and bound off yesterday. The second sock will be much slower though because it will be knit during class and I'll be following the pace of my students until the heel is done.
But that's okay. Trump and I already have the yarn wound for my next pair of socks!
I LOVE the yarn for the next pair - very spring-like!!

Nice sock - I love the colors. What yarn is that?

Oooh - love the finished sock and can't wait to see the next. Remember to watch your tension on the 2nd slower sock. I've noticed that the speed of the knitting can affect the size. I was shocked to discover this on a pair I made. It looked like I had knit 2 completely different sizes... but everything was the same except my tension and speed.

Have you heard of or tried the 2-at-a-time sock method? Once I did it and got over the initial awkwardness, I can't imagine knitting socks any other way. I always had a huge problem with the second sock, I'd get bored or forget how many rows I needed to make it match with the first one I did, but now I don't have to worry about all that. Obviously, you can't do it that way if you need to teach a class, but I'm just sayin'... you might want to check it out for your personal use. :0)
Beautiful color, you speed knitter, you!

Sock class?! So you're teaching knitting now. Yeah! Love the sock and the yarn yo picked for the next one. What's the pattern for the sock class? I really like how it keeps the yarn from pooling.
