The Word

  • 1 Corinthians 16:14
    Do everything in love.
  • Philippians 4:6, 7
Don't worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Mary

I LOVE the yarn for the next pair - very spring-like!!

Carole

Nice sock - I love the colors. What yarn is that?

Jennifer

Oooh - love the finished sock and can't wait to see the next. Remember to watch your tension on the 2nd slower sock. I've noticed that the speed of the knitting can affect the size. I was shocked to discover this on a pair I made. It looked like I had knit 2 completely different sizes... but everything was the same except my tension and speed.

vanessa

how fast! it will be nice when you can wear the matching pair!

Have you heard of or tried the 2-at-a-time sock method? Once I did it and got over the initial awkwardness, I can't imagine knitting socks any other way. I always had a huge problem with the second sock, I'd get bored or forget how many rows I needed to make it match with the first one I did, but now I don't have to worry about all that. Obviously, you can't do it that way if you need to teach a class, but I'm just sayin'... you might want to check it out for your personal use. :0)

Beautiful color, you speed knitter, you!

lydia

yea you, i finished a sock today too.

KM

Sock class?! So you're teaching knitting now. Yeah! Love the sock and the yarn yo picked for the next one. What's the pattern for the sock class? I really like how it keeps the yarn from pooling.

Ruth

Gorgeous colour for a sock.

Donna

You go girl! That is amazing. Great colors too, I might add.

Marti

I am still not a sock knitter at all and I really admire those of you who are. Beautiful!
