I'm not good at analyzing lyrics and half the time I don't even hear them correctly.  So I don't know all that David Bowie was referring to when he wrote this song, but I know I can relate.

Right now I feel like most things in my life are changing and it does feel very strange!

• Starting in August, I'll be teaching at a local Montessori school in their middle school program.  This requires me to take some extensive training in July.  There is also a new middle school classroom for next year.  I've been preparing as much as I can for the training and the new school year.  
• I'm trying to figure out some health issues so I started a Paleo diet to see if it will help.  I have to say that I do feel better after just a week of eating this way and I've lost a little weight.  
• I started learning Spanish.  It's fun, but I have a long way to go!
• And so on...

I'm trusting God with all this and I feel fine until I start to think about the unknown and the strangeness.  What will teaching at the new school be like?  What else is needed for the new classroom? What is teaching in a Montessori environment like?  Will everything be okay while I'm at the training?  What should I eat for dinner?  :)  That's when I start to pray and remember that God will equip me to do this.

Those are a lot of changes, Beth! My first two years as a paraprofessional I worked in a Montessori kindergarten classroom. My memory is that it was a lot of fun. The students progressed at their own pace through the various hands-on and exploratory activities. It made for a busy, productive and engaged environment. I hope you'll post what it looks like at the middle school level.

First I had NO idea that's what he was saying. As for changes, we've had quite a few, and I'm learning to just take it one day at a time and trust God. I think you'll enjoy the new teaching situation.
